Talooby Zulu is the second of 2 introductions to the Dunlop
Park herd from the Talooby Stud at Rhylstone in New South Wales. We have been
increasingly concerned about the overuse of a small number of AI sires in the
angus herd and felt the need to find an alternate sire line. The Talooby herd
has been bred with an emphasis on the confirmation and carcase quality that
Angus cattle were renowned for. Zulu has added frame size to our cattle and
produced many outstanding offspring.

Dunlop Park purchased a number of the top females at the Creekton dispersal sale. One of these was in calf to Woodburn V1 who holds the record price for an Angus bull sold at a Woodburn sale. Yamba is the resulting calf and we have used him in the herd for the past 2 years with outstanding results.

Although there is only one bull in this years sale sired by Ambassador, he has some impressive calves on the ground and some of these will be among the leading bulls in our 2011 sale. His son in this years sale is the first opportunity to buy a son of this impressive bull. Ambassador is showing the New Zealand influence with great muscling, length and confirmation.
