What's the Prime Minister doing?

If I remember correctly, John Howard said to us that it will be illegal to sack a worker unfairly. What he doesn't say to us is that one of his most important moves is to introduce a law that allows us to be sacked when no reason is given.

Do you believe that the government wants to make workplace laws that you don't have worry about? Do you believe that the John Howard is not really cynical? Have I just misunderstood his "unfair dissmissal" plans or have got something else wrong somewhere?

I don't know much about the details of the government's Industrial Relations Reforms but his alteration to the unfair dissmissal laws has been confirmed by many authorative bodies. It is true, and what it means for John Howards ways of dealing with the public is critical.

It is critical that Australians realise that John Howard's cynicism nothing less than breathtaking!

What can you do? There isn't much. Your employer has all the power. But if we say "What can we do?" then the success of John Howards plans is assured.

What ever you do or don't do ... don't just give up. Start asking your friends if they know. Ask anyone. Start talking about it all.
